My Rugby League team, the West Tigers, had been having a pretty ordinary year until about 6 weeks ago. They’re now 6-0 in the last 6 weeks. I had no expectations before I went overseas….(not in the running for the finals), but it was great to come back and see they had won every game while I was away! (Yes, I am superstitious enough to believe that it was me being away….but today they won 56-10 so that’s BS!)

Now the point of this post:

My brother-in-law lives in Townsville and he’s a mad St. George supporter!!!……and with St. George leading the table (for once ), he’s been on my case about getting Grand Final tickets and myself and my other brother-in-law, (also from Townsville), going to see St. George take it out. When he first raised this, out of politeness, (and the fact he’d be staying at my place), did I agree to go to the GF if he got a ticket. (Not even thinking the Tiges were a shot).

So now we have the tickets!

But, NOW I AM THINKING 2005!!! History is going to repeat!! He also hasn’t forgotten the Tiges taking out the chokers (St.George) in 2005 when they were favourites.

My team is potentially going to do it again (LOL) and my brother-in-law has got me tickets to the Grand Final…(one I did not expect my team to be in), where the Tiges will have dumped the “chokers“…..2005!! ! Stay fit Benji and we’re there again!! And to my brother Troy, thanks in advance!
