This is one I have been following for a while. A classic case study of the large corporate(s) trying to do as they choose while a small community (that most people have never heard of) tries to protect what is theres. They’ll probably lose like most of them do but that shouldn’t have to be the case. Have a read and show your support to the Big Galoot and the people of Jerrys Plains:

Just added a new article, “Ya can’t eat coal for breakfast.”
Catchy video, too !

Hypocritically, Galoot’s father worked at Warkworth mine. Obviously Galoot’s family believe mining is only bad if it’s in their own backyard.
Ah,
thats interesting news, “dude”. If my dad ever worked in a mine, any mine for that matter, I or my family certainly weren’t aware of it. My dad wouldn’t know a front end loader from a forklift.
In fact, as a school headmaster (now retired), I’m wondering how he found the time or acquired the requisite trade tickets to also work in the mining game ?
Perhaps you might care to enlighten us further on your so-called “facts”, “dude” ?
