I enjoyed Patrick Gray’s take on this story: http://searchsecurity.techtarget.com.au/topics/article.asp?DocID=6101214
I can think of easier ways to get the information.
I can also think of far easier ways to get the passwords from cyber crooks.
Instead of using a nerdy, boring can of oxygen to freeze the dram chip, why not use a supersized can of whoop-ass on the computer’s owner instead ?
You’ll get the password much faster that way. And have a lot more fun in the process.
PS.
Only kidding !!!
